How can I get one?
Contact your Case Manager who will arrange to visit you to discuss the Kent Card. Decide if the Kent Card is the best way to manage your Direct Payments. If it is your Case Manager will help you complete the application form. You will need to show some identification documents, his is required as a security check. Your card and PIN number should arrive within 2 weeks of completing the application form.
How does it work?
Kent County Council will load your Direct Payments money onto the card instead of paying it into a bank account.
Telephone us on 01580 762244 to arrange to receive our Private Care Service in your own home, giving you support and help that can help you remain in your own home for longer rather than entering a care home before it is really needed.
Every 4 weeks we will send you an invoice for the care you have received, we can then speak to you on the telephone and take payment from your Kent Card making it a simple and convenient way to pay for your care.
